DISCLAIMER AND STORE POLICIES

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

  • We offer refunds and exchanges within 14 days of your purchase. We will grant a full refund if the packaging hasn't been opened, or we charge a 15% restocking fee if the packaging has been opened. We do not offer refunds on certain items, including:

    • Laptop power supplies​

    • Earbuds or headphones

    • Clearance/Open Box

    • Consignment Items (Specifically marked)

    • Preowned Cables

    • Portable Storage (SD cards, hard drives, etc)

    • Special Order items

    • Ink Cartridges

 

PC WARRANTY

  • All refurbished systems come with a one-year limited hardware warranty through Holden's Computers. This warranty covers hardware replacement for any issues stemming from manufacturer defects. This warranty does not cover software issues, accidental damage, third party issues, or acts of nature.

  • Some of our systems carry a manufacturer's warranty (Dell Standard Support, Dell Pro Support, etc.) that runs parallel with our in-shop hardware warranty.

  • Holden's warranty repairs are prioritized in our queue, when available.

LAPTOP POWER SUPPLIES

  • Please bring your laptop in if you need a power supply. Each manufacturer makes several different types of chargers with different tips and each computer has different power requirements. We do not accept returns on power supplies.

PAYMENT

  • Payment is due at time of pickup.

  • For remote support, we accept payment over the phone after our session is finished.

DATA

  • We take several precautions with our customer's data. However, in a catastrophic event such as a failed hard drive, we may not be able to recover data.

  • We expect our customers to be making their own backups (cloud-based or to an external drive).

  • We have backup options to prevent catastrophic data loss, but they obviously have to be set up before a failure occurs. Please contact us for more info about backing up your data.

LIQUID-DAMAGED DEVICES

  • If your system is determined to have liquid damage and you want us to fix it, the service is considered "as is" and we offer no guarantees to parts or service. Corrosion to components happens over time, and we can't guarantee that you won't have problems in the future, even if we replace parts.

COMPUTER SERVICE TURNAROUND TIME

  • We service multiple computers at a time. Our turnaround time for most services is 2-4 business days.

  • Please be prepared to leave your system with us for us to diagnose and repair. Please bring in your power cord if it is a laptop.

  • Onsite visits are typically scheduled Tues thru Thurs. We try to make an accurate guess as to how long the service will take. Emergency onsite visits are handled on a case-by-case basis.

 

"I NEED THIS THING-- WHAT'S IT CALLED?" / UNKNOWN ITEM

  • If you're looking for a particular cable but don't know what it's called, take a picture of what it should plug into and email us the photos to support@holdenscomputers.com and we'll respond ASAP.

  • For laptop power supplies, please just bring in the laptop.
